Designing Something Different
I recently attended a trade show in Melbourne called Design + Decoration, and one of the stand-outs was the stunning Designer Boys Art Collection. I can honestly vouch for the fact that photographs cannot do justice to these pieces.
The vast collection of designs are made from shells, beads, seeds and textiles. The large-scale allows you to appreciate the delicate detailing of these artworks, while a beautiful Australian made box frame protects them. Each textual artwork is designed by the boys, Gavin and Warren, and made overseas by their team of specialist artisans. There is a definite tribal feel to the works, in design, material selection and due to the fact that they are hand-made.
Seriously stunning, any piece in the collection has the potential to become the new talking point in your home.
The photos are beautiful but I can just imagine how much better they would look in real life. Wonderful work.
