Pom Pom

What is it about pom poms that make you instantly feel happy? They are such a great way to add a little fun to your decor.

One of the best thing about pom poms is that they are an easy DIY. I remember making some in primary school and think I may just try my hand at it again after seeing the beautiful creations below. A little more mature, but just as gorgeous, take on this crafty creation.

Maximum Effect

Have you heard of the brilliantly curated collections of online store The Minimalist?

I only recently discovered them after falling in love with the Varpunen Sacks and hounding down an Aussie supplier. They stock a small but beautiful and unique range of homewares that are all right on trend. HH recommends checking out their artist list if you are after something edgy and new to accessorize your home with.

If you are Sydney based, The Minimalist are opening a pop up shop today at Gaffa Building, Arcade 1, 281 Clarence Street Sydney. Go and check out their amazing range of wares in the flesh until August 17th.

Hooked on Crochet

I just know I am going to enjoy being a granny one day. My new-found taste for doilies and crochet goods, even cross stitch, seems to increase daily! My current fascination is with this style of crochet and lacasadecoto has a great range available.

Blah Blah Blah

Blah Blah Blah, is that what babies hear as adults fuss and coo and goochi goo over them? Say it all with the mini blanket by Donna Wilson that has maximum impact and is just a little bit rockstar. Available in two colour combinations in 100% lambswool it’s one super cosy blankie.

But wait, it comes in a larger size too! Perfect for a teenager who apparently only hears Blah Blah Blah from adults too!

Willing and Cable

Oversized chunky cable knits are my current obsession, but I’m not talking about clothing. There are some gorgeous knitted homewares on the market at the moment that are so cuddly you could just squeeze them! Soft, warm and inviting, the perfect addition to your home.

Stitches and Stripes

I have discussed my love of hand stitched quilts before, so it should come as no suprise that I adore this striped silk quilt by Starnam Handmade Homewares. Not only is the stitching detail amazing, the quilt is 100% silk and is available in navy and white stripes, my all time favourite nautical colour combo.

A new shipment has just arrived from Vietnam so check the Starnam website today for full colour, size and pricing details.

OH NO! Have just discovered my favourite striped quilt is all sold out! You better get in quick on the rest of the range, my second choice is this divine patchwork…hurry!
